Thomas Caffrey, MS, FACSM, FBCIACredential Ergonomist/PhysiologistMr. Caffrey is a certified Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (FACSM) and a certified Fellow of the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (FBCIAC). He is also certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) and has completed the Roy Matheson and Associates Ergonomics Training Program. He has extensive training in advanced techniques utilizing surface electromyography for Functional Muscle Evaluation, Training and Ergonomics.
Mr. Caffrey has been evaluating and training individuals for more than twenty five years, with most experience relating to neuro-muscular-skeletal problems associated with a variety of disorders involving the shoulder, arm and hand (e.g., carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, etc), as well as low back pain and the many repetitive strain injuries (RSI) so common in our time. Mr. Caffrey has been involved in research related to muscle activity and ergonomics in major industry, with a role as principle author in one recent study. |
